Pick and Reserve Your Location
Located in the University Center, our campus partners, UM Conference & Event Services, works with a multitude of clients including students, staff, faculty, community members, and out of region clientele to create successful events on and off of the UM campus. They offer special pricing for alumni, government employees, non-profits, and students to help you stretch your budget. With full-service conference centers, theaters, lecture halls, and event centers, UM Conference & Event Services have space, resources, and expertise to help you plan every detail of your event. They also offer complete conference and event management.
If you already have the perfect location reserved off-campus, UM Catering can assist you will your catering needs!
Step 2
Contact us with the following details:

Date, time, and location of your event

Type of event (i.e., buffet, banquet, business meeting, reception, etc.)

Budget

Programming, presentations that will be occurring

Room setup: Tables and chairs, floral arrangements and other decor, placement of audio/visual equipment, event timeline (rehearsals, pre- and post-event schedules, etc.)

Invitees: Number of guests invited, accessibility needs, dietary needs

Description of alcohol service desired. (UM Alcohol Policy)

Step 3
Plan Your Menu and Service Details:
Please review our online menus or, if you’d like to create a custom menu, contact us to schedule a consultation with our catering manager. For all events, please plan and place your order with us three weeks ahead of time. If you’d like our professional planners to handle the details, we are here to assist you with décor, centerpieces, chairs, tables, linens, and floral arrangements. If you are a do-it-yourselfer, that’s great! Please coordinate with us so that we can make sure everything goes according to plan.
